They advertize 24 hour security and what they mean is that they have unmonitored security cameras on site. The price was reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was clean and well-maintained.

2.5 Stars - Great facilities and staff, but they advertised a free rental truck that I couldn't use because the tires were in such bad shape

I recently leased a unit at the Buda. The staff and facilities were great - no complaints. However, part of the reason I chose that location was because a free truck rental was advertised. Although the truck was available, it's tires were in extremely bad shape - the walls were very dry and cracked, and one tire had definite signs of an internal bubble. After driving it around the block, I decided that I really didn't want a blowout on the freeway and returned it. I understand that since the truck is free, it's not going to be top of the line, but I'm concerned that they would advertise and lend a vehicle that clearly isn't safe to drive. Doesn't that pose liability issues? If the tires get fixed at some point, I'd love to take them up on the free truck. But at this point I feel a little gypped.

Bonnie has been a very sweet person and extremely helpful. Her storage facility was not my first choice yet it is a much more affordable choice than many others offering the exact same features. Highly recommend!!!!

Staff was great, ground was mostly clean, looked like their might be pest problems though. FACILITY REPLY: Dear Matt, Thank you for your compliments on our staff and facility. We value and prioritize a clean facility, and regularly treat for pests, so if you ever see specific signs of any thing that concerns you, please notify our staff immediately. We have not received any other notifications or seen any indications of pests in our regular walk-throughs, so would appreciate your immediate feedback if you see something out of line with our high standards.

I recently leased a 10x10 unit @ 1st Choice Storage. The leasing process was straightforward and speedy. Frost, the representative on site during our move-in, was outstanding! He loaned us a lock as the lock I had was the incorrect one. I would highly recommend 1st Choice Storage.

Property is very clean, easy to get your items in and out of the storage unit, mine is on the second floor. Personnel are very nice and helpful and the use of the free truck was a nice plus.

Sparefoot was awesome. I found 1st Choice Storage. The manager was nice and helpful. The place is clean and secure. Not only did I get one month free, but I got to use a free truck to move. Super easy!
