The second floor is very hot and stuffy if you don't get climate controlled but I guess I should have known that. The elevator was very big and could hold a lot of stuff so we didn't have to make very many trips up and down which was nice. They gave me half price for each month even though I only had the unit for three weeks so I did have to pay half for July when I only used it for 3 days in July but I guess that's just how it works. Staff was nice and knowledgeable and they let you use a nice cart for the day for free if you just leave them your license. I would recommend this to friends.

The staff is very nice, the price is fair, second floor on the inside is stuffy because there's no air conditioning but honestly the location and going in the early or late hours makes it worth it. I have and will recommend this storage to friends.

We were in and out of the office pretty fast, it was a little pricey but on par with everything else I priced. I think that's just Austin. Second floor was kind of a pain but they offered a cart for no charge.

The customer service is great! I walked in with an on-line deal, and of their own accord, the staff advised me on several ways that actually made it cheaper for me. The units are of average construction and cleanliness. However, the main gate and A/C were broken, and it seems that AMS takes a while to fix major problems because they have to clear it by corporate first. Regardless, I still recommend this place to someone looking for affordable storage in Austin.

I have read the reviews before I chose the storage and was alittle concern but after dealing wih other companies I decided to go with them. All my concerns were handled wthout any questions or hassels from the employees within minutes. All the employees were kind and concern on taking care of my needs quickly. Thank you for all of the help that was given.
2.5 Stars - Nice Storage Place, but Disinterested Staff

Good: The storage facilities are well-maintained, clean, and very accessible. Bad: The staff does not seem well informed or the least bit interested in you at any stage of the process. When I called the facility, a man confirmed the 2nd month was indeed free for the unit I had selected. When I arrived two days later to move my possessions into my unit, I was told that the special did NOT apply to my unit. I was so worn out from moving that morning that I swallowed my ire just so I could get into the door. I am very disappointed by the attitude of the front staff and the misinformation that led to further charges. I would have rented with a more affordable storage place had I known this special would not apply.

You get what you pay for, and everything was as I expected. Entry to the elevator can be a hassle, especially if someone else is moving stuff in on the second floor at the same time

I signed up for a 10x15 climate controlled storage unit 3 weeks before actually needing it. The day I arrived I was told that they hadn't had any climate controlled and I was automatically applied to a non climate controlled unit. This was done with no phone call, email and without my permission. I was basically told there was nothing they could do and sent me on my way with all my belongings needing to be in storage that day. They had horrible customer service. While I was there they were blatantly putting other customers to their voicemail and laughing that they will call them back in a few hours even though the caller needed to be called back right away. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully there was a great lady, CJ, at Public storage on Ben White to help me and she got me a great price and the unit I needed within 5 minutes.
